| :i have a 350d and was curious on what lens to get next. thats all. =) It all depends on what you plan on shooting. You'll probably need a few lenses to cover each purpose. I use the 16-35 f/2.8L for the wide angle effect and for indoor/tight areas. I'll use the 70-200 f/2.8L IS for portraits, sports (with a Tamron PRO 1.4x teleconverter), autocross/racing, stalker booty shots, and for static automotive. Of the two, I prefer the 70-200 if I have the space. The car shots are sharper and have more pop to the image due to the compression you get with a longer focal length. Here are two shots to show you the difference. 70-200 f/2.8L IS
 16-35 f/2.8L
The shot with the 70-200 is taken a little higher since I was across the street which had an upward slope. You can see how much 'tighter' the image is with the longer focal length... less tree/house/yard in the background. I'm not sure what I'll get next, maybe the 85 f/1.2L or the 300 f/4.0L IS. Any way, give me a holler if you want some info on various lens selection depending on what you're looking for.
